At each end of the year, the Pantone Institute announces the official colors of the year that will follow. The color of 2015 was Marsala, a color similar to that of red wine. For the first time, in 2016 two colors were chosen instead of one, namely pink quartz and serenity, which will give tone to fashion and design.
The two quartz and pink serenity colors combine perfectly, reflecting a connection between the hot pink and the refreshing and soothing shades of blue. This transmits a state of well -being, but also a feeling of order and peace.
The combination of the two colors also changes the traditional perceptions of the Color Association.
In many parts of the world we are witnessing a blur of gender differences in fashion, which has also expanded. This color approach coincides with changes in current society as regards the equality of genres, consumer comfort that increase using color as a form of expression.
The two colors can be combined with green tones, purple, gray, yellow, cherry, turquoise, fishing, brown, but they adapt very well together.
