Too bad that not many people in our country understand the potential of this type of material. Andrei is already a specialist, but also passionate.
This work could be detected in the promotion leaf of any HPL manufacturer in the world.
We play the text sent by him below:
«The work in question presents the furniture of a dental clinic with 3 offices. The project is carried out by Daniela Burtea, an architect who personally admire for the practical and concise style that faces both in the design and in solving the problems that arise during the project.
The furniture in question presented some characteristics:
– Large lengths and thicknesses of the side parts (over 300 cm long and often 6 cm)
– Lack of feet
– Unitary aspect for fronts and handles
– maintenance of a relatively low cost
Below, the solutions used were:
– Use for the structures of a Eurolight plated base with CPL (the only option to have structures and finishes that exceed the length of 305 cm.) In this way, structures can be made practically any length we need.
– The proposal to suspend the furniture in the wall came after the plasterboard walls were built. Basically I used a fixing base that was not previously prepared for the application in question. We used a diameter of large diameter and screws to anchor directly in the brick wall, 8 cm away from the surface of the plaster.
– The unitary aspect of the fronts and handles would have been much easier to maintain with a milling machine. But this would have increased costs and execution time. As a result, I used aluminum handles, which I painted in the electrostatic field.
-A important weight in the budget of these furniture is the value of the sliding systems, the drawers are essential in a dental office. The solution used was Metabox drawers, with cushioned closure. A good help in elaboration were the Dynalog program and the universal model with the sovereign.
This furniture is equipped with porcelain washes immediately below the HPL surface. This process is not new, but as far as I know it is not too widespread in the country. Probably one of the reasons is the longest time for correct installation. In the first phase, the sink (from the porcelain or stainless steel) must be glued to the structure of the work surface. In the case of porcelain sinks, where the simple deviations of the upper surface are larger, they are correct by grinding and grinding. Subsequently, the finish (HPL or CPL) is glued, cuts the void of the sink and the internal edges are polished. In this case, the grinding for a single blackboard lasted 2 hours and was made manually. «
If you have a job you are satisfied, send images and details. So more and more people will discover you and the material (we are not interested if it was purchased by us or not).
