Decorative panels perforated from the inside to the outside

The new materials and CNC equipment are the basis for a new resource that can be used inside but also external furniture projects: perforated decorative panels!

The usual perforated plate commonly used for radiator masks, space partitions, masks in places with air circulation, furniture, etc. It has been able to customize with its performances but also with various finishes using HPL (which offers most of the finishes), MDF which can be painted or MDF.

The architects currently use this type of product, furniture manufacturers have less courage to propose to the end customer, in the conditions in which a successful perforation can significantly identify a furniture object.

The perforation «plays» with the light. I saw an interior design project in which the result was spectacular.

The same can be done outside the buildings using compact HPL plates of different thicknesses. The material resists time, has the heat of the wood, is processed with the usual means. Some of the domestic producers already use it for external shelves, children’s furniture in parks, banks and street furniture.

However, the compact HPL acquires another essential value for perforation after choosing a topic inspired in accordance with the required application.
